A New Eyeliner Trick

Hello!
Apologies for the delay since my last post, I'm not sure where the time is going at the moment!

Anyway this is a short and sweet post on a new eyeliner trick that I discovered whilst recently on my hols.

Firstly, before you attempt this, you need to make sure that you have a good, black pencil eyeliner (I bought mine from Kiko when I was in Italy - it was super cheap and is amazing!) You also need to make sure that it's in good condition for hygiene reasons.

When applying the eyeliner the difference is that when applying it to the top lid, you apply it underneath the eyelashes instead of on top. I did find this a bit weird at first but when you get used to it it's no different to applying to the water line. You might need to hold the eyelashes up a little before filling in the gaps between the eyelashes with a pencil. You can build it up as you go along for the desired effect. For a more dramatic look, I have also applied eyeliner on the top lid as usual and on the water line of the bottom of the eye for a really smoky look.

If you do just want to keep it quite natural, a thin line under the top lashes will help to open the eye out.

Sorry for the close up but I took this after an evening out on hols to give you an idea of how it looks.

Happy eyelining! I'd be happy to hear some comments on what you think of this method of eyeliner application.
